Adamas Nu Omega (Adamants) Intercollegiate Fraternity and
Sorority, is an organization built on brotherhood and sisterhood. Founded
at University of the East (UE) on August 28, 1976, the organization grew and
formed chapters at other major universities, and schools all over the three
major islands of the Philippines.
Mission
The mission of Adamas Nu Omega is “to promote the highest standard of brotherhood, friendship, and service for our members and community based upon the ideals set forth by our founders and as specifically enunciated in our maxim."
Vision
- To help the development of moral, spiritual and academic excellence of the all members and other students of the University.
- To enhance the leadership ability of all members by encouraging a passionate devotion to study.
- To provide opportunities for all member to train their capacity for leadership and cooperation.
- To implement projects and activities that will improve the skills and talents of all members.
- To defend and protect the honor, name, and reputation of the organization and the university.

The organization is a non-profit intercollegiate and service
fraternity/sorority. Emphasizing peace, unity within the members and providing
outreach projects to the community. With the acceptance of the fraternity/sorority
in colleges and universities all throughout the region, the fraternity/sorority
have shared beliefs and mission to provide leadership-training opportunities
and to serve the community.
The fraternity/sorority’s main goals are to
promote academic betterment and respect for all culture. Adamas Nu Omega has set out to accomplish these goals
through responsible intellectual and social action. By working in the
community, the organization hopes to not only provide service, but also enhance
the image of fraternity/sorority and provide positive role models in the
community. The organization has been involved in numerous community service,
been active in anti drug rallies, brought noted speakers to other college
campuses to orient members, marched in parades and programmed various cultural,
educational and social events. The fraternity/sorority has also received
commendations from government organizations for the continued efforts to help
calamity victims and the outreach project to needy communities.
The
fraternity/sorority membership is open to all college students and the
brotherhood includes men of Filipino descent with different cultural raise
working together to realize the organization’s goals. Brothers and Sisters of
Adamas Nu Omega have gone on to become doctors, lawyers, information
technologist, programmers, engineers, artist, entrepreneurs, politicians,
teachers and leaders in various areas. Adamas Nu Omega members have held such
positions as head of different known companies, government officials and
director of academic institutions.
Since
their inception, they established over 50 chapters throughout the three major
islands of the Philippines and continue growing. The fraternity/sorority has a
deep respect for all cultures, and to cultivate a strong brotherhood and sisterhood.
In essence, they hope to raise the social, educational and cultural conscience
of the college student. They set out to accomplish these goals through
responsible intellectual and social action. Furthermore, by working in the
community Adamas Nu Omega hopes to provide service and enhance the image of all
its members and the community.
